A very belated update, since I started back in September, but pleased to say that – after years (on and off) of doing hourly teaching there, dating right back to my PhD days – I’ve now joined the Film Studies department at King’s College London on a (slightly) longer-term basis.
It was with a heavy heart that I left the lovely, welcoming folks at the University of Bristol (and the city more generally), but with circumstances increasingly conspiring against anyone on short-term contracts, this two-year post at KCL was not something to sneeze at. Plus, it means I can go back to cycling to work, and actually use my office to store all my books!
